[previewyoutube=3CjVwqSBrqs;full][/previewyoutube] Today, Deterrence runs on the purposefully crappy made test station to find the minimum system requirements and to keep the game optimized. The test station is made up of a low-to-mid range CPU (Intel Xeon X5450 @ 3.00GHz), mid-to-high range graphics card (NVidia GeForce GT 730), and 6Gb of DDR2 RAM. With the current graphic options, I could disable shadows, v-sync, bloom, anti-aliasing, and drop texture quality to an eighth resolution. By dropping the settings to lowest, the game ran at a tolerable, smooth average of 30 FPS with a few drops to about 25 FPS when there is a lot of action. Still, there are a few more settings that can be made adjustable that can make a difference when it comes to scenarios like this test station. This is good news to many players out there that don't have the latest and greatest hardware.
Testers Wanted
The CPU and RAM are a bit overboard, but this test is focused on the minimum graphics card. There will be further tests to discover a lowest processor and RAM. You can help out as well with your hardware by becoming a volunteer tester.
