Hey there! We are LIVE with a new demo update, just in time for Steam Next Fest! (Wooo!) Let's go over some changes to the demo. This update, we have Dash Skills! These skills trigger when the player dashes. [*] [b]Cut Currency: Gold Coin[/b] We tried to make the Gold Coins work, which played a bigger part in the original game's design, but it ended up confusing players. "Idk what the coins are for..." was a statement we heard a lot in let's play videos. We purged them from existence, leaving the Flower Coins as the only currency. [*] [b]Enemies and Bosses[/b] We have adjusted the speed and health of many enemies, as well as when they spawn. Speaking of spawning, the game will now pick between 2 different bosses every night, who now have a set HP amount, rather than scaling with the player, as it was before. As always, to win a night, you MUST defeat the boss, even if it means going into extra waves. [*] [b]TREASURE![/b] When you defeat a miniboss or boss, a treasure chest will drop! Now, when you get near it you will see a fun little animation with the skill(s) that get leveled up from the chest. I say skills with the "(s)" because there is now a chance that it'll be a rare chest and upgrade multiple skills that you have! [/list] [b][h1]Colony Changes[/h1][/b] [list] [*] [b]Colony Enrichment[/b] Players can now place objects around their colony to increase a colony's enrichment. When the enrichment level is increased, the player will gain a permanent stat boost based on that level. [*] [b]Building Stat Boost[/b] In addition to Colony Enrichment, structures will also give a stat boost to the player as long as it is built in the colony. [*] [b]Building Blueprint Cost[/b] Before, when the player unlocked a blueprint after a night, it required Flower Coins to fully unlock before building the object. We have gotten rid of this. As soon as you unlock it through gameplay, you can build it the next day, free of charge. :) We hope this also shortens the early portion of the game and gets you into the thick of it much quicker! [*] [b]New Building: Library[/b] Players can now unlock a library! The Library will let you gain better insight into how to unlock skills and other buildings! (NOTE: Not all skills and buildings are included in the demo and will not unlock even after meeting the requirements for unlock.) Here, you can also touch up on anything you might need to re-learn. [*] [b]Cut Building: Bank[/b] Due to the cutting of the gold coin, the Bank no longer served a purpose. However, we are exploring ways to bring it back in some other way and give it a new purpose.
