The new patch is finally ready! This patch adds more difficulty options and some gameplay improments based on player feedback. (Of course, there's still more feedback to address. There will be more adjustments in the future.) [h3]New Features[/h3] [list] [*]Added difficulty selection! [*]There are now three difficulty levels: "Casual", "Normal", and "Heroic". If you feel the previous demo was not challenging enough, please try these out and let me know how you think about the new difficulty! (The difficulty of the v0.1.2 demo was roughly between Casual and Normal.) [/list] [h3]Gameplay Improvements[/h3] [list] [*]Now you can choose one out of three turrets upon completing a level! [*]You can now switch game speed by pressing the spacebar. [*]Increased the preparation time between each battle. [*]The current wave number is now displayed during battles. [*]Monster health bars now display the accumulation of poison damage. [*]The Sniper Tower, upon placement, will automatically switch its default priority target to "Highest Health". [*]Pressing the right mouse button now cycles back to the previous option when changing tower target priority. [*]After changing tower target priority, the tower will immediately abandon its current target and find a new target. [*]Clicking outside the tower function menu will now close it. [*]Significantly increased the chance of encountering a shop node before a Boss level. [*]Added UI hints for long-pressing to unlock talents. [*]Added UI hints for holding Shift to build continuously. [/list] [h3]Balance Adjustments[/h3] [list] [*]Rebalanced all towers, monsters, and levels. [*]Changed the calculation method for poison damage: total damage can stack, but the interval between each damage remains the same. Also increased the damage of poison-type towers. This change makes poison towers deal more damage, but will also need to build a longer path for the DOT damage. [*]The minecarts in the Boss level has been enhanced; it now doubles attack power and attack range. The number of minecarts on each side decreases to three. [/list] [h3]Bug Fixes[/h3] [list] [*]Fixed an issue that could cause the game to crash (although it's not 100% certain if the issue is completely resolved, please report if crashes still occur). [*]Fixed incorrect punctuation in Japanese fonts. [*]Using Alt+Tab to switch windows will no longer affect the game camera with mouse movement. [*]Added a "Native" option for screen resolution. The screen resolution setting needs some rework, so I've added the native resolution option for now.
