Attention all Heirs!
Today's update is the final pre early access launch patch, rolling together fixes for a lot of small issues (and some bigger ones). Tomorrow, September 25th, is finally Early Access release day!
There are also a few important gameplay changes, specifically regarding the Command Center, Active Uplinks, and how Tier 3 Call Ins are handled. Call Ins and Shields will only get a free upgrade on an Active Uplink if the next Tier is unlocked. Additionally, Command Tables can only build Tier 1 and Tier 2 Operations, meaning Tier 3 can only be deployed on a successful Active Uplink.
[ CONTROLS ]
- Call In won't be deployed if the recall button is held
[ GAMEPLAY ]
- Active Uplink doesn't give a free tier upgrade until it is unlocked
- Tier 3 Call Ins and Shields only possible by Active Uplinks
- Tier 3 Call Ins will destroy shields on the side of impact
- More plethora Grunts per wave, but they are generally weaker
- Post Evacuation rush waves don't scale up as fast (wave sizes and strength)
- Grenade launchers won't shoot off in random direction, more arc towards targets
- Tier 1 and 2 Artillery has some spread where the shells land
[ HUD AND MENUS ]
- Smaller wave indictors on the streets
- Defined condition states in Heir Details
- Heir details in Loadout shows the impact of the Heir's current condition
- Close Loadout menu immediately after beginning a new mission
- Fix rare case where zone selection closes unnecessarily
- Fix Round Summary population counters at Launch Site
- Fix Game Summary to only count evacuated shuttles for Gambit Unlocks
- Fix hover Tool Tip for Shield Walls
[ MAPS ]
- Few new props in Heir waiting area to broadly theme each Heir
- Fix Situation Table inconsistencies when calculating the Hold Back
- Fix some cases of Situation Table showing a path from two completed locations
- Launch Site always mentions Pilots instead of VIPs
- Echion can properly go up the right hand stairs of the tower at the Launch Site
- Fix camera snapping awkwardly during final moments of Drop In
[ TUTORIALS ]
- Fix Tutorial 2 when first assigning to command center
- Fix Tutorial 3 Drop In reward options
- Plethora Prime is introduced at end of Tutorial Launch Site mission
[ MISC ]
- Fix some cases where projectile bullets will stop spawning
- Plethora Prime will always die with full animation
- Plethora will be killed in end sequence orbital strikes
- Fix some cases of crashing when a Plethora dies under a weapon effect (burning, gas, etc)
- Fix case where a Plethora hit by Tier 3 Airstrike bomb can still be targeted
- Decon's drone have a trail behind them, and will fall apart during the end sequence
