[h1]🌀 Sunday Devlog 18: Time Vortex[/h1] Hi ag- wait, it's already Sunday??? Turns out that college can cause lots of time dilation. That being said, there is one thing I'd like to showcase today: [b]the new level select![/b] [h2]The Hyper-Internet Map (still WIP)[/h2] The new map, while not done, has had a lot of work done on it, including transition effects! [img]https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/45057857/70a0bb049e08f8c2dfcadde3baa4ac083587f841.gif[/img] Unexpectedly, it turned out that getting the background, mouse and other parts to change color at the right time was a lot trickier than I expected. I'll spare you the details, but let's just say.. a lot of spaghetti had to be cooked to make this work, lol. There are more changes coming to how the level selects will look, including adding decorations, adaptive menu music and a couple of more.. secret things. This update is also going to launch together with controller support, just to be clear. There's still a lot to do for that, too.. oh dear.. [h2]What is this, a devlog for ants?[/h2] I'm unsure how busy I will be this coming week, as there's also a game jam I'm doing over the weekend on top of all my college stuff. But regardless, I am starting to get a hold on my sleep schedule again, and the utterly miserable heat and humidity on my campus is starting to die down [i](having an AC is a luxury you don't realize how important it is until it's gone)[/i].
