[h1]💥 Sunday Devlog 14: TURBOOOO MOOOOOOOOODDEE![/h1] Hey, so uhh, a lot has happened this week. Now that the game is feature complete, a LOT of beatmapping has been done, and at a speed where I can reliably say that all the beatmaps for current music will be done with time to spare! Let's talk a little more about it in this devlog. [h2]Upgrading and Finishing[/h2] Despite the game reaching feature completion, it was still missing a couple minor things, mainly proper file backgrounds for the different files. These were surprisingly annoying to make, but with these done, 100% of the art for the game has been done and dusted! [img]https://clan.akamai.steamstatic.com/images/45057857/dfd9937df280c42d9e4bfd7e8abee0f446e711a3.png[/img] [i]Why he ourple?[/i] Finally, [b]Steam Cloud support[/b] was also added, so you can keep your progress across devices and in case your computer gets destroyed by a laser during the space war of 2335. [h2]Beatmapping[/h2] It's been happening behind closed doors, but we have had a [i]dramatic[/i] shift from "it's so over" to "we're so back" during this week. Previously, there was a lot of worry that I wouldn't get all the levels mapped on time. However, since a lot of annoying things have concluded, I have been able to devote lots of time towards making the substance of the new levels, and it turns out that I can do it a lot faster than I expected. A couple albums are a little confidential [i](for now)[/i] so I won't reveal too much, but the entire game's beatmaps were around [b]15%[/b] done last week. Now, they are closer to [b]70%[/b]. And since all of the art and infrastructure is already in the game, there is very, very little to do apart from the beatmapping to get the game ready to ship. [h2]In Conclusion..[/h2] There are a couple more features in the game that haven't been mentioned during this dev log. But honestly, I think it's best to see some of them for yourself, rather than them being "spoiled" here. There's a chance there will be announcements on Steam and the Discord if anything else needs to be announced before release, but otherwise, this week is going to be the final stretch to complete the game.
