The following patch notes detail all the features, highlights, and bug fixes included in Kristala Version 0.1.2. With this significant update, Episode 1 of Kristala's Early Access release is now 95% complete.
[h3]Features & Highlights[/h3]

[*] Addition of the [b]Capital City of Nisar[/b] (accessible through the main questline). If you have already completed the level, you may visit Nisar by picking up a key from the final Ellarial Font, allowing you to travel back to the starting Font and bypass the locked gate at the start of the level.
[*] You can now [b]upgrade your weapons[/b] by visiting [b]Brutus the Blacksmith[/b].
[*] A [b] third boss fight[/b] has been added to the game, accessible from the city of Nisar.
[*] [b]Various NPCs and Questlines have been added[/b], including Prada Lun, Levida, and Grinning Grimaldi.
[*] Addition of a[b] Greatsword Weapon type (plus two new classes)[/b]. If you have already completed the level, you can find the Greatsword as a pickup near the final Ellarial Font.
[*] [b]Dynamic Difficulty mode[/b] added to the game. Begin a New Game to start your journey in a dynamic difficulty, or toggle the dynamic difficulty on/off within the game's Settings.
[*] An option to [b]hide the HUD[/b] has been added to the Settings menu.
[*] Various [b]minor adjustments to combat[/b] have been pushed to make the overall combat experience even more interesting and fun.
[*] Many improvements have been made to [b]navigation within the Menu system[/b].
[*] The [b]Spell Tree’s overall presentation[/b] has been improved (prices of Spells now added and clearer focus to the UI).

[*] Bugs that caused Menus to "freeze" are no fixed.

[*] The Roar spell's perk no longer plays its related sound before the spell is actually cast (it was previously spawning alongside the spell itself being cast).
[*] The Invigorate spell's perk now also works as it should, healing an instant amount of Health before continuously healing the caster.

[*] NPCs that don't have an active dialogue cannot be interacted with and now use the correct idle animation(s).
[*] Some dialogues were automatically progressing after a few seconds, resulting in some voice lines being cut short. They are now correctly timed.
[*] Distance dialogues now won’t play twice if you move back and forth without completing them.
[*] Single-distance dialogues won't play again if you reload the map (either by dying or by loading a game).
[*] NPCs will no longer spawn appearing to float or seem as if they're buried in the ground.
[*] Enemies now no longer fail to rotate towards you during combat.

[h1]Known Bugs for Kristala Version 0.1.2[/h1]
The following is a list of known bugs and issues we're actively working on addressing in Kristala Version 0.1.2. Updates on these issues will be detailed in future patch notes.

[*] The NPCs' quests will not work properly if you've already progressed further than their area.
[*] Some dialogues automatically progress after a few seconds, resulting in some voice lines being cut short.
[*] After receiving a takedown, enemies will not take damage and will temporarily behave abnormally.
[*] The character is experiencing a load-delay in the Character Creation menu, resulting in some invisible areas showing before they load in.
[*] The character jumps when closing a tutorial.
