Hey everybody, welcome to our 3rd development update of Iconia Defenders! These weeks have been very busy. Tasks ended up being bigger than expected, but here we are! Progressing through the second milestone of the development roadmap! [img]https://clan.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/images//44891800/371c7d800843023506c1c5601f26253292b485a5.png[/img] You may notice that we moved the achievements to the end, honestly it didn't make sense to make them before the other 2 core mechanics of the game (skill tree & deck building menu). Now the path forward is much clearer [h2]1st boss![/h2] We were working on the first boss of the game: [i]Bharisia, The WItch[/i]. During her attack, the creeps will not stop coming. That means tons of enemies! Together, with the witch, they represent a big challenge if the maze wasn't built with caution. Using her broom, Bharisia will fly around the map a couple times before trying to approach the player's base. She will throw magical spells to the towers from time to time, stunning them for some seconds. That gives the importance she deserves (sorry, no picture for this!). But that's not all! Bharisia is a [b]two stage boss[/b]. So, when defeated, she will respawn somewhere in the map, angry, because you broke her broom! [h2]Superior Gems[/h2] We finally implemented the beloved Superior Gems! These are rewards which you will have to choose when completing a wave. They will greatly enhance your defenses or even provide new cards to play, which are fundamental to continue surviving the hordes of enemies. We have implemented more than 40 superior gems! Here are some of them, in full HD, so they are easy to read (you may need to click them). Every 3rd wave you will have to choose a cursed gem, which will increase the game difficulty by tweaking the enemies, adding powers to them, adding cursed cards to your deck, and more. Be careful and design your strategy well as your choice will carry through the whole run! (2 cursed gems combined) You can also take a peek to the incendiary arrows fired by the archer, thanks to the "Incendiary arrows" superior gem.
