Hi Chefs! Just a few more fixes before we start on the controls update. Bug Fixes - Fixed an error where Epic Recipes can be enhanced twice, exceeding the 5 ingredient limit. Attempting to cook these recipes would cause a freeze. - There seems to be an issue with customers sometimes not eating. Although we haven't been able to recreate this bug yet, we have added some code in places where an error might occur. We will keep an eye on this issue to see if it still persists. - Fixed numerous typos. Balancing - Rebalanced the way that dish sell prices were calculated. Previously, the sell multiplier was solely based on the number of ingredients used, and rarity having no impact on the price. This would result in certain enhanced recipes being able to sell for much more than even legendary recipes. The ingredient total multiplier has been reduced, and a rarity multiplier has been added, with the base value increased as well. In general, common dishes now sell for slightly more, enhanced dishes are reduced, and rarer recipes sell for slightly more as compared to enhanced dishes. Improvements - Dish quality requirement to unlock Autocook for minigames reduced from 95 to 70. Some players were having issues with these games due to accessibility, or controller limitations. We will look into finding a better solution for autocook down the road. - Added a few more button key indicators for the Restaurant Management menu - the shift between Left Mouse Click and Right Mouse Click between different UIs is confusing to players. We will fully fix this with the controls update. - I, O, and P are now alternate buttons for 1,2 and 3. This is a temporary fix for players with certain unique keyboards. This will not be needed after the controls update. Moving Forward We will keep an eye on any bugs that pop up for a few more days, and begin overhauling the controls. Once we start, we be unable to patch the game until it is complete, since the inner workings of the game will be modified. We will also take this opportunity to overhaul a lot of the UI as well, since many players have expressed confusion towards the controls, especially when entering the game for the first time. We will add key-input prompts for most activities during this overhaul. Some of the UI is also quite old and and requires an upgrade. We will also look into adding ultrawide support and windowed mode, since these items are tied to UI. More info on this soon. That's it for now!
