Hi everyone, I'm Jason, the creator of Artificer's Tower. My initial mission was to craft a small game, but I'm not very good at that! So here we are, five years later, launching on Steam with a game inspired by the design of Fallout Shelter, the management aspects of the Dwarf Fortress/Anno series, and the thrilling gameplay of the tower defense genre. Artificer's Tower is about managing mages and building a tower while defending it. You'll find elements of resource management, crafting, happiness and wage systems, student training, and more designed to provide progression and challenge. At this stage, I'm adding the final touches to the originally planned rooms and will soon switch gears to create more backgrounds. The roadmap below provides more details on the significant features and upcoming additions. (Which I completely forgot to add the backgrounds...) I've been developing this in a small bubble, so I'm eager for feedback. All constructive criticism is welcome! As a solo developer on this project, I aim to provide regular updates. I'm committing to posting every two weeks here on Steam. Wishlist and follow Artificer's Tower to stay up to date.
