Recently we've had a couple of playtesters go through and play the game recently. Their feedback has been invaluable, and as we believe in releasing a quality game we've been hard at working fixing the issues that they've found, along with some gameplay changes. Firstly, a number of bugs involving things like stationary platforms, crashes, and other such items have been found, and we've been at working attempting to fix them. One of the changes that we've made is a major change to that of universe generation. One common complaint that we got was that the initial generation, saving and loading of the game took far too long, and that people could end up generating a 25 galaxy map and it would immensely slow down the game, saving and loading would also take too long. Initially there will be no pre-generated set number of galaxies on startup. What will happen now is that after your starting galaxy and a couple voids are generated, as you move throughout the universe, for example, moving into one of the pre-generated galactic voids, the rest of the universe will generate as you continue to move from one galaxy/void to another on the ending of your turn. The universe from this is now theoretically infinite, and you should be able to travel the cosmos depending on the relative strength of your computer. Your save file will also vary as a result of this, being reduced in the default, but increasing in size as you spread throughout the cosmos.
