Hi everyone, We’re a little more than a day past launch and the support and feedback has been fantastic and overwhelming. Thank you! With that said we’re not happy with some of the issues players have encountered so far and we’re working hard on addressing all the reports and feedback we’ve received. Here’s a non-exhaustive list of what we’re focusing on right now:
Fixing stuck bugs.
We’ve received reports from players that heroes can stop attacking and get stuck in combat. This is a high priority bug for us to fix since it can end an otherwise great run. If you have this bug please help us by doing the following: 1) Close down the game (You will not lose all progress. Only fights you’ve done on that ingame day will be lost) 2) Navigate to this folder C:\Users\[YOURNAME]\AppData\LocalLow\Unleash the Giraffe 3) Zip the folder called “SeersGambit” 4) Send it as well as a description of the bug you’ve encountered to us at unleashthegiraffe+bug@gmail.com include [Bug Report] in the subject Subject Line or contact us on our Discord https://discord.gg/zk3pQWmESm
Tweaking balance
We’ve already pushed a couple of balancing passes, but we’re not done. We’re looking at individual nodes, enemy composition and general balance at the moment. If there are specific nodes you’re struggling with, please let us know and we’ll take a closer look at those. We’ll also soon release a patch that reduces the cost of upgrades to make progress feel less grindy.
Fixing other high impact bugs
We’re tracking all reports and have a list of high impact bugs we want to address. Please do keep reporting issues you run into so we can add them to our list
Prepping for 1.1
We have a bunch of ideas for 1.1, this week we’re listening to the community, collecting feedback on what you’d like to improve, change or add. Based on this we’ll be able to create a better 1.1 for everyone. Next week we’ll give you more info on what 1.1 will include. We’re not happy that we’ve had players run into run-ending bugs, but we’re committed to fixing these issues so you can enjoy the game. We ask you for patience while we fix this, we’re a tiny team of two, but we’re working hard on getting everything solved. Thank you again for your massive support so far. We’re very, very grateful!
