CURRENT LIMITATIONS - Special Tracks are still heavily Work In Progress, they are buggy especially with blocks, use with care. - Special Track Elements cannot be inserted between nodes. - Trains cannot go backwards with Special Track Elements, they will glitch out. CHANGELOG This update includes the following new features: - New Camera Features: We added a few new Cinematic features to the Advanced Graphics Options, including color grading, depth of field, etc... - Zoom: You can now Zoom using (C). - POV Buttons on Train Cards: We added a few buttons to enter different camera positions on your trains via the Train Cards. - Time Control: The Time and Weather Menu now includes new buttons to control time, you can slow down, stop or speed up time. - New Upscaler : Nvidia DLSS 3.7 has been added, including DLSS, DLAA and NIS. (Note: Upscalers are not a solution to performance issues, they are only here to help with performance while we do our best to improve the game's bottlenecks.) This update includes the following improvements: - Massively Improved Performance: We optimized a lot of systems across the game, including lighting and materials and fixed some performance issues that were found before the initial release. - Camera Speed and Mouse Sensitivity: You can now control the Flying and Walking camera speeds as well as the Mouse Sensitivity. - Realistic Jump: We changed how the player character jumps, it should now be more realistic and less floaty. - Menu Auto-Scaling: The Menus will now automatically scale up or down when you select/deselect an object or coaster, making it easier to browse the library while keeping viewport space when placing objects. - Shader Pre-Compile Screen: We added a new Shader Compilation Screen when launching the game, this will compile all shaders allowing for a smoother game experience, you can disable the Pre-Compile Screen in the Options. - New & Improved Main Menu: We improved the look and feel of the Main Menu. - Interaction Crosshair: When in Walk Mode, if you look at an interactable object or coaster train, an interaction crosshair will appear indicating the object can be interacted with. - Insert Node Improvements: When adding a node between two nodes, the new node will be inserted in the middle of the two others - Arrive and Leave Tangents: Tangents are now separated between Arrive and Leave allowing for finer control over your curve's tangents. - Auto Tangent Button: A new button to auto-calculate and apply tangents. - Node Linking: Nodes can now be linked to each other, extending their settings without manual intervention. - Snapping Improvements: Snapping can now snap to rotation and snap to scale. - Hardware Ray Tracing Support: Support for Hardware Ray Tracing has been added, improving Ambient Occlusion, Reflections, Global Illumination and potentially improving performance on Ray Tracing capable graphic cards. - Editable Coaster Friction: Coaster friction can be edited per coaster. - Higher Resolution Terrain: Terrain resolution has been doubled, note that terrain paint may be reset. - Units in Menus: Units are now displayed in Menus when needed. - Longer Rain and Snow Coverage: Rain and Snow will last longer on the ground before melting or drying. - New Terrain Textures: A few new terrain textures were added such as sand, leaves and gravel. - New Foliage species: About a dozen new tree species were added including Pines, Palms, Oaks and more. - Shadow Resolution Setting: A new setting that allows to control the "resolution" of shadows, this has very low impact on performance but can be useful. Bug fixes: - Nodes shouldn't reset colors anymore - Grid Size can no longer be 0 - Decimals now display properly on supports settings - All trains now have the same number of cars, name colors can still be adjusted per train - Opening a closed loop coaster now removes the track components of the removed section - Train audio issues were fixed - The mouse should now be as responsive as your computer's mouse - Park Name now saves and displays properly - Opening the pause menu doesn't freeze the game - Nodes can now be selected through terrain - Node triggers were shortened to avoid overlapping track issues - Fixed some typos - The loading screen bar now displays 100% instead of 0% when loading has been completed There are most probably more fixes that were forgotten, if issues persist, please report them again in the bug reports channel on the Discord. Known Issues: - Trains sometimes fold on themselves when switching from a Special Track to a normal track or when closing a coaster with a train on a special track or beyond. - Blocks can bug with Special Tracks, they will not generate properly, especially with multiple Special Tracks. - Closing a loop with Special Tracks currently only moves the last node to the first, this will be improved
