During this period, we’ve received a lot of suggestions and feedback. My task list has quickly expanded, and I took some time last weekend to sort through it and make a plan. From my perspective, the feedback and suggestions reveal different gameplay goals, which can be broadly divided into two parts. One group of coaches wants a more "managerial" experience, with better buying and selling, more detailed youth training, and more club-related development. The other group wants a better card-playing environment, with more rules, equipment, changes, and smarter AI. Frankly, our update direction aligns with these goals. So, I’m here to reveal what we will be updating in the next few versions, which we plan to complete in 3-4 months. [h2]1. Simulation Battles[/h2] We’ve heard a lot of debates like "Niels is the best," "Gang forever," "Deep Space is too weak." This is what we want to see. Coaches can now upload their teams to the Steam Workshop and download other teams for battles. [h2]2. Current League Performance Display[/h2] From the information bar, you can view the current league standings, matches of other teams, kill rankings, your team’s information, and more. We plan to update this in two parts. [h2]3. Hardcore Mode[/h2] Real esports coaches face more complex player situations! Tailored coaching is the hallmark of a true esports godfather! We will add: [h3]1. Player potential [which determines attribute growth bonuses] 2. Hero pool capacity limit [the maximum number of heroes each player can learn] 3. Professional affinity [different experience requirements for proficiency in various types of heroes][/h3] These will be optional content in the custom options. [h2]4. Playstyle Diversity[/h2] A veteran player shouldn’t have just one playstyle! Advancing with a Gold Crown and retreating to an Isolated Island—that’s what makes a versatile player!Depending on a player’s innate abilities, they can have 1-2 additional sets of tactics-cards-skills. These unlock when the coach level and player abilities reach a certain threshold. [h2]5. World Championship[/h2] We’ll keep the details of the World Championship under wraps until we are close to completion. [h2]6. Coaching Staff[/h2] A mature club should have analysts, assistant coaches, scouts, etc. You’ll need to build your coaching team, which will provide various kinds of support. 1. Assistant Coach Assistant coaches will help with youth training, and we will revamp youth training to require training modules. Different assistant coaches will bring unique training modules. 2. Analyst Analysts will help with daily training research. Excess training sessions can be merged or redeveloped. 2.1 Merging: Each daily training session will have specific merging effects, enhancing the quality of training modules. 2.2 Redevelopment: Combining three low-level training modules will create a new high-level training module. 3. Scout Want to find more promising youth players? Scouts will help. Depending on their abilities, they can find various talented youths for your youth academy. 4. Public Relations A mature club needs good publicity. Different PR staff will have different strategies, boosting your team’s funding, coach points, training points, and fan base. [h2]7. Player Value & Contracts[/h2] Players now understand they deserve salaries! Different players have different contract priorities. Some won’t allow you to list them without a high penalty fee. Some only care about signing bonuses, while others prefer short-term contracts, requiring a high price for long-term deals. [h2]8. Building Match Venues[/h2] Where will the salaries for your coaching team and players come from? You can charge fans for tickets! [h2]9. Skipping Matches[/h2] This doesn’t mean completely skipping matches. When you let the team play automatically, there might be situations needing your intervention. "Coach, we are leading with a 10:0 kill ratio. Should we press our advantage?" "Coach, we’re behind by 10k gold. Can you help us turn the tide?" [h2]10. Event Editor[/h2] This week, we will open the API, allowing mod creators to collaborate with us. We understand that programming requires time and isn’t a skill everyone has, so we will also provide an event editor that doesn’t require programming. [h2]11. AI Overhaul[/h2] We’ll offer more challenging card-playing AI and Ban & Pick AI. We hope our coaches won’t break a sweat. [h2]12.
