As you know we’re making sure that different type of environment and props visible in the game will be appropriately prepared – modeled in the image of the really existing objects or terrains from past. As that is the case we try to plan accordingly – we know that it is important to equally carefully and thoroughly tackle small objects and large surface areas. Last time we show you different prop models and objects – this time we’re happy to showcase the playground that you might have seen shortly in the trailer of the game. This particular statue is a statue that historically was placed in Pripyat albeit in a different location. As we talked about the artistic liberties previously – this is an example of them coming into play. We believe that by placing this statue in a different place than historically accurate position we will be able to build up the atmosphere and suspense of the place. On the other hand – we made sure to follow the general feeling and style of the statue with our own reproduction of it in the game world. We strive to make our artistic vision a reality but at the same time we want you to enjoy the game. The choices we make when selecting range of colours and hues should reflect our dualistic approach – attention to the details and historic accuracy while maintaining the graphical quality necessary to experience the game as entertainment. Now it’s us who scour around the place, checking if it’s already safe at least for a minute… Thank you for checking with us this week! Cheers!
