Hello survivors! The first update of the game is here. Below are the changes made and additions introduced to the game.
[h2]Weight:[/h2]
All objects in the game now have a weight, which will influence the character's movement and the attack speed of the weapons. There are certain objects that have reduced values so as not to make the gameplay cumbersome (no one is capable of carrying 2 tons of wood or stone to make 3 walls). Weight is represented in the inventory, as you carry more weight, the character's speed will be reduced. To increase the maximum weight there are 3 methods:

[*]Unlock the skills “Lungs of iron” and “Lungs of steel” at levels 5 and 10.

The weapons you create on the anvil will also have a weight characteristic. It is calculated from the weight of the materials used and the shape you give it. The larger the weapon, the more it will weigh. The weight will influence the speed of the attacks, if the weapon is short it will attack very fast, if it is very long it will be very slow.
[h2]Backpacks:[/h2]
The start of the game was too easy, you could carry as much as you wanted and not worry about inventory space. Now inventory management and having a base with chests is a more relevant need. Inventory space has been reduced to 10 slots. This space can be increased by using backpacks. 3 backpacks have been added:

[*]Improvised Backpack: Unlocked by default. Increases inventory capacity by 6 slots and maximum weight by 5 kilos. It can be made with 10 cloth and 30 plant fibers.

[*]Medium Backpack: Unlocked at level 5 with the “Basic tools” skill. Increases inventory capacity by 13 slots and maximum weight by 15 kilos. It can be made with 20 cloth, 10 scraps of leather and an iron bar.

[*]Large Backpack: Unlocked at level 9 with the “Intermediate tools” skill. Increases inventory capacity by 20 slots and maximum weight by 30 kilos. It can be made with 40 cloth, 20 scraps of leather and 2 iron bars.

[h2]Belts:[/h2]
Much like the inventory, the action bar had too many slots at the beginning of the game. Which could lead to you equipping all your weapons only on one side and only using one hand. The purpose of the game is for you to use each limb independently, which is why the action bar has been reduced to one slot for each hand. To increase it you will have to equip belts. 2 belts have been added:

Equipping backpacks and weapons in the action bar will show those objects in the world, if you look at your shadow while you have weapons equipped you will be able to see them.
[h2]Destroyer deck:[/h2]

When you start the game and create your first base, it is usually made of wood. As you progress in the game you may want to change it for different reasons, needing more space, improving its resistance, having it reduced to rubble by a group of alien attackers... In any case there was no quick way to destroy a construction made by the player, only hit them with your weapons until they are destroyed. Now a hammer has been added whose only function is to destroy these buildings. Simply standing near the building and clicking it, it will be destroyed along with all the buildings dependent on it. This way you will make renovations quickly, but the materials are not recovered in the process.

The game is still in an early version and therefore there are many 3D models and textures that are not of good quality. As updates are released they will be progressively improved. [h2]Fatigue mechanics:[/h2]
Now every time you spend energy on any action, a fatigue bar will progressively increase, limiting the maximum energy available. The fatigue bar increases to one-hundredth of the energy expenditure, that is, every time you spend 100 energy points, your fatigue will increase by one point. To get rid of fatigue you will only have to sleep.

[h2]Interface update:[/h2]
The previous version of the interface tried to be minimalist with smoke tones representing the fog that covers the planet. Apparently it was not liked at all, that is why it has been redesigned.

The status bars have been redesigned and repositioned, adding identifying icons. The action bar has been moved downwards, so as not to obstruct the field of vision.

Shadowing has been removed for skills that require a higher level than the current one. Descriptions of all skills can now be viewed at any time. This will help you spend your skill points more wisely.

[h2]New initial level design:[/h2]
When you start a new game, you begin in a bunker that you reach by falling through a hole in the ground. The purpose of the start is to introduce you to Ashun and his summons. You had to work your way through a simple 3-button puzzle, the purpose of which was to explain to the player that in this game no one was going to tell him what to do, but that he would have to explore and discover the solution. But in the end it was cumbersome and slow, causing an early rejection of the game. This first level has been simplified, now you only have a single linear path, the number of empty rooms has been reduced to a minimum so as not to confuse the player. A more comprehensive description has been added at the beginning to introduce the story of the game.
