Hi all! Minor update today, as I continue to plan what is next for Rocky Mayhem. For now, development is limited as I cannot add anymore steam achievements and they play a big part in the campaign mode I have planned, therefore I cannot do anything else until the restriction passes. However I have improved some minor parts of the game and fixed some issues! [h1]Difficulty Scaling[/h1] Difficulty Scaling has once again, been changed as I found it too easy to start with even after 6 minutes. Below lists the new changes to make it more challenging and engaging! [i]The seconds reflect how long between each asteroid spawn[/i] [list] [*] Level 0 - 2.95s → 3s [*] Level 1 - 2.75s → 2.7s [*] Level 2 - 2.55s → 2.4s [*] Level 3 - 2.35s → 2s [*] Level 4 - 2.25s → 1.7s [*] Level 5 - 2.15s → 1.4s, 1+ Asteroids per spawn [*] Level 6 - 1.75s → 1.4s , 1+ Asteroids per spawn [*] Level 7 - 1.55s → 1.1s [*] Level 8 - 1.45s → 0.9s, 1+ Asteroids per spawn [*] Level 9 - 1.15s → 0.8s [*] Level 10 - 1.05s → 0.7s [*] Level 11 - 0.9s → 0.65s [*] FREEPLAY - 1s → 0.9s, -1 Asteroids per spawn [/list] [h1]Progression System[/h1] Along with Difficulty Scaling changing, progression has been changed very slightly also! These changes may make it hard for some players and if I receive too many complaints, this will all be reverted. The main cause for these dramatic changes is because Rocky Mayhem was made to be a hardcore rogue-like game and the remake has lost its challenge.
