Hi guys! Sorry for the lack of communication, but I'm happy to say that I finally now have time to work on the remaster of Rocky Mayhem. This will remain a 2D game, however, it will be coming back as a Unity game started from scratch, with remastered graphics, various new mechanics and, the feature I teased for years now, enemy AI ships! One major change is that the game will not provide preset levels, nor will it operate using a "Point" system anymore. The game will work as a rogue-like with entirely generated levels, a new XP and unlock system, as well as asteroids now come to you, rather than just dodging them when they move randomly. I cannot provide much information on Rocky Mayhem remaster's targeted early access date but most likely, I'll be aiming for [b]Q4 2022 / Q2 2023[/b]. The first release will be bare bones with only 1 asteroid type and 1 enemy ship, however I'll be expanding as development goes on. The game may also be renamed to start the new journey. Though I can confirm the development process has started, with already a working player ship, health and basic skill system implemented. I'll keep you all updated closer to the time!
