Hey all!
Small hidden patch here. With this patch, comes back Mayhem Mode! With a major twist compared to before...
[h3]Mayhem Mode 2.0[/h3]
With Mayhem 2.0, the reinforced asteroids leave as I feel like they didn't really add anything unique, especially after adding the Volcanic Knights which were identical. In replacement comes [b]Flamethrower Turrets[/b]! Built out of indestructible tungsten, these turrets sit on the perimeter in all 4 corners. Getting too close to them releases a devastating wave of fire, capable of destroying your ship instantly. Can you complete Mayhem mode without being incinerated?
In terms of the rest of Mayhem mode, bosses will remain disabled and the asteroid spawn rate is 15% faster than Normal. I feel like Bosses would be unnecessary for Mayhem as the space leeches, turrets and increased amount of asteroids are stressful enough. Completing Mayhem Mode also will grant you [b]10 Player Levels[/b], instantly unlocking any cosmetics you do not have!
