After talking with many of you, we knew we wanted to address the challenge of the microbe mini-game sooner than later. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the game, so in this update you will find an option in your settings menu to adjust the mini-game to your preference. The game now has 3 options: [list] [*] [b]Standard:[/b] The original game with the original speeds for those of you who are enjoying the challenge. [*] [b]Reduced Speeds:[/b] A modified version of the game with the timing game slowed down and capped out at a moderate speed for the most difficult microbes. We also removed the variation in speed between pulses to make it a little more predictable. [*] [b]Off:[/b] Timing games just not your thing? We understand, so now you can just turn off the timing portion of the mini-game. You still have to scan and hunt for the microbes, but now you can just enjoy collecting them. [/list] In addition to the mini-game options, we were able to reproduce and fix a few tricky bugs with all of your help so thanks for reporting them to us in Discord. You can see the full patch notes list below. As we roll out these updates if your ideas didn't make it in, it doesn't mean we are not still considering it or planning something for a future update. We just have to tackle a few things at a time. <3 For any demo users still trying out the game, we have also just updated the demo. It includes all the speed and tuning adjustments from the launch version, the 1.0.1 update, and this 1.0.2 update. [*] Captain Level Achievements: The first achievement was incorrectly called level 2 when it should have been level 1. The final Captain level achievement was getting awarded at Captain Level 9 and not Captain Level 10. [*] Duplicate Tools: Fixed issue related to multiple tools given through email when closing windows simultaneously. [*] Decorator: Fixed UI issue with window closing confirmations. [*] Shuttle Craft: Fixed UI issue with window closing confirmations. [*] Holo-Sim Books: Fixed UI issue with window closing confirmations.
