Developer update here! We have been super busy since our last one.
Carbon and I have put out seven game improving patches in total so far, based on our beta-tester feedback. Some bug fixes, some polish, and a ton of extra quality-of-life suggestions. Those quality-of-life improvements are particularly fun since they just make the game better and more intuitive for all future players. Here are just a few examples…
• Enemy behavior polish to make laser blasting creeps more fun.
• Extra inventory controls for more flexibility in how you want to interact with your items.
• Extra hints for keeping track of planet resources in the Space Navigation Map.
• Tuning numbers to balance all the machines, recipes, energy, and items to feel more fun.
• Some special room decorations added by request.
• Longer in-game days, so you have more time to do more stuff and take your time.
• Typo fixes. There is a ton of dialogue to comb through and now it is much more cleaned up.
• Even better Steam Deck support with a few extra nice Steam Deck specific touches.
• Extra code side fixes to make things more robust and safer for any future improvements as well.
The overall feedback from beta-players, especially ones that have completed the story, is just amazing. It makes us soooo happy that the game is making them happy! It is incredibly fun to watch new players experience this cozy goofy story for the very first time.
We are still trying to spread the word about Little-Known Galaxy, so if you want to help us share the game we'd be thrilled! Please wishlist if you haven’t already, and join us on Discord for more detailed and frequent updates. We’d love to chat with you too.
Thank you endlessly for the support! You all make it more fun for us!
Back to it! :)
