Greetings, Survivors!
It's time for the next "Behind the Scenes" entry! Initially, we wanted to share new video content with you, but that one is still a work in progress. Instead, today we will check the latest artworks and get a quick insight into their production and usage. But first - let's celebrate the good news! Together, we have passed the 15 000 followers mark for our Community Challenge! We're not backing down on our promise and new events and transmissions will find their way into the game. Next goal - 20 000 followers! It's especially hard to depict some elements when the overall style of the game is set to be minimalistic. 2D art fills those gaps perfectly, allowing us to present the game's world in further detail and in ways that are only limited by the artist's creativity. That's a perfect blend for us and a direction that we have decided to follow while working on Infection Free Zone. Different usage we have for our artwork:

Main reference that sets the tone of our whole work,
Source of inspiration for other 3D/technical artists working on the game,
Content that we can add to loading screens, and in-game panels to create a particular atmosphere during the gameplay and display things otherwise hard to depict (building interiors),
Base for cut-scenes, game intro, and other video materials.
As you can see, artworks are quite a huge and important part of the game! The first Concept Artist/Illustrator for Infection Free Zone was Mateusz Bogucki, who previously also worked on Rustler. Now Mikołaj Adamski has taken over this role, creating tons of amazing artworks for us. Take a look below and let us know if you can actually spot the differences in style between the two of them! Here is his message to all Infection Free Zone fans out there:
Hi, this is Mikołaj from Jutsu Games! I was asked to write a few words about my work. I mainly work in Photoshop in combination with blender, although my workflow varies depending on the given task. What I like the most is creating graphics depicting environments in a relatively dark and mysterious atmosphere, where light plays a big role. I'm happy to work on Infection Free Zone because it corresponds well with my style and interests. I hope you like the work attached to this post and that you will enjoy the game and its atmosphere.
Would you like to know more about some other people who are working on Infection Free Zone? Let us know in the comments! Best regards, Jutsu Games Team
