This update adds the following.... 1. All trees to all terrain tiles 2. Fixed the topographical map generation for Norway so that it now takes into account sea levels. 3. Updated the radar altitude system to take into account sea level. This is just the average sea level and does not take into account wave heights! 4. Added the following to the Video Settings menu... Terrain Resolution - allows you to reduce the resolution of the height map used for terrain generation. This reduces the number of polygons that makes up the terrain. Pixel Error - this adjust the level of terrain resolution for distant terrain. Higher numbers result in higher frame rates but lower accuracy of distant terrain which can cause visual "popping". Terrain Shadows - enables or disables terrain self shadowing Water Quality - allows you choose the resolution of the water mesh. Water Reflections - allows you to choose what is reflected in the water reflections. Reflections are hugely resource intensive so default is OFF. However, you can set it to Sky Only which is still fairly performant but will give greater accuracy to water colouring from sun/moon light. Reflection Resolution- allows you to choose the quality of the water reflection. View Distance - allows you to choose how far into the distance things are drawn. This mainly effects terrain and atmosphere/clouds. The game is optimised for 20km but I think most people will be able to crank this up higher. It does not effect the "Player Bubble" size which is set to 15km so you won't gain any advantage/disadvantage to spotting enemy vehicles etc. Tomorrow I will be placing the mission markers over the main island which will allow all current mission templates to generate missions on the new terrain. Feedback on performance is always welcome ːsteamhappyː
