It has been a while. I apologize for the delay in reporting, but I would like to provide an update on the current progress of my work. I am in the process of creating CG models for the routes and stations, while also making adjustments to the control systems related to train operations, switches, and signals. Currently, there is an issue in the game where switch numbers and signal names overlap, so I am working on renaming them across both existing and new sections, as well as modifying the interlocking system. I am taking advantage of this opportunity to make these adjustments, given that the environment is already undergoing significant changes due to the extension to Akayamacho. (Future) Preparation for Multiplayer In the future, I plan to implement a multiplayer function that allows multiple players to participate simultaneously. This feature aims to offer a cooperative experience where drivers and conductors can manage train operations together. I am currently conducting research for the design of the underlying network system, learning methods for communication between the server and the game, and real-time data synchronization between players. Once this multiplayer function is realized, I expect it will provide more diverse play styles and enhance the overall experience. I'm planning to release the update within this year.
