...and now for something completely different! A lot of side events accompany Gamescom every year. You don't get to meet your colleagues from the game dev world every day, after all, so when you do, it calls for a celebration! This year we had the chance to co-sponsor the Polish Party organized by the Indie Games Poland Foundation. It was a great opportunity to meet new people, have a chat with friends and enjoy a warm, summer evening after a day of hard work at the fair. One of the main attractions of the party was a live concert of the Manico String Quartet, playing music from various video games. Before the event, the organizers asked us if there were any pieces from our games that could work on strings. Without a moment of hesitation, we said yes. Here is the Manico String Quartet's interpretation of The Riftbreaker Main Theme, originally composed by Marcin Pukaluk. https://youtu.be/UHqVNuZrJRM If you haven't heard the original version, you can give it a listen here: https://youtu.be/xUGv0X4I4Js What do you think? We were incredibly excited to hear The Riftbreaker Theme live and we think the band did a great job with their interpretation of the piece. It made the whole event even more memorable! There's much more good music in The Riftbreaker, some of you have already had a chance to listen to it during our regular live streams at www.mixer.com/exor_studios - they take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 3 PM CEST.
