Our Dev has been hard at work since launch, helping us to bring out over [b]12 patches[/b] since launch! Each patch so far has brought not only a plethora of bug fixes (wonderfully reported by our excellent [b]Æsir![/b]), performance and visual upgrades, but also numerous new, updated, or improved features too! A select few of which we'll share with you here: [h3]Environmental Updates[/h3] The entirety of the Skye map has been reworked, meaning that terrain is 2x more accurate to real life than before! The Norway map has also been updated, bringing a 4x data optimisation across both maps! [h3]Quests[/h3] We now have an entirely reworked journal and quest system. With this, we can bring forward some of the more basic quests that otherwise wouldn't have been included at this stage! [h3]Hunger & Thirst[/h3] We flicked the "on" switch for hunger and thirst, meaning that planning ahead for any potentially perilous journeys is now a must! [h3]Animation[/h3] The player and horses have had an animation upgrade, with both now using an IK (Inverse Kinematics) rig. This means that both the player and the horse's feet conform to the landscape instead of clipping through it! [h3]Hunting[/h3] Hunting has been added to the game, with a minimum of 24 hunting locations now available across the Norway and Skye maps! We currently have over 16 different types of animals to hunt! This is only a [i]very small selection[/i] of the additions since we first launched, our [b]Æsir[/b] can testify to that!
