The dedicated server program is included in the game, and when going into Multiplayer, you will find a hosting button. When you enter the hosting window, you will be greeted by instructions on which ports need to be opened in your router for the server to function. Ports:

8766
27011
38000 (as the default port and can be changed in the server program/settings)
*All ports need to be set up with a User Datagram Protocol (UDP)
How to open ports in the router:
First, you need to connect to your router software, and the most standard way to do that is to write your router's standard IP address (192.168.1.1— this can vary depending on where you live and the brand of the router) into a web browser; this will take you to your router. (If you don’t know your IP address, you can look it up by searching for your internet provider or go down in this guide and read ‘How to find my internal IP Address:’) After you log in, you need to locate a tab called WAN; the layout can vary depending on the brand of the router. (The layout can look different depending on the router) You will most likely have a tab called Port Forwarding in the WAN tab. This is where we will enter the ports that the router and game need to work together. If port forwarding is inactive, you need to enable it; then, you need to add a new profile. [olist]
Enable Port Forwarding
Add Profile[/olist] [olist]
Add Service Name (This can be called anything, we called all three Screw Drivers)
Change Protocol to UDP
Add External port (8766),(27011) and (38000)
Add your internal IP address [/olist] You need to do this 3 times, one for each external port.
How to find my internal IP Address:
Press the Windows icon in the Hotbar, and write command or CMD Command Prompt will open, and here you will write (ipconfig) When you press enter a lot of data will be shown and here you will see both your internal IP address, but also the router IP address. [olist]
Internal IP Address
Router IP Address [/olist] Now, when you have your internal IP address, you can add that to your port and press okay. Do this for all three ports. When you are done, you should have three ports that will forward data to your dedicated server when you start hosting. Now we are done opening the ports, so the only thing left is hosting a server! Tab back into the Screw Drivers game to the server hosting menu. After choosing a Server name, password, and the number of players, you press Start server. You will see a window opening and begin starting up the window, and as soon as you see ‘Connected to Steam Successfully’ your server will be online for others to join. When starting the server for the first time, a window will pop up, and you need to press allow access for the server to go through the Windows Firewall. When that is done, you will automatically be connected to the server, and you will be in the garage. You can now start playing while you wait for your friends or others to join. You can also invite friends directly through your friend list as well.
Troubleshooting

If friends cannot connect to your server, check the firewall settings and make sure, that the "Screw Drivers Server.exe" is given access through the firewall.
If you cannot see the "Connected to Steam Successfully" message, make sure that Steam is running and you are logged in.
We hope this helps. If you have any questions, please feel free to join our Discord, and we will help you set up your own server! Have fun, and drive safe!
