V.0.1.5 is here!
If you've been reading these for a while, you might look at the title and think to yourself - wasn't it called like 4 times already that there wouldn't be any more Demo updates? Why is there another? Anyways:
Meadow, alternative Zone 2, is now available!
This Demo update introduces the alt. Area 2, Meadow, into the Demo. Originally I thought the Demo already had enough, but I figured... why not. This way the demo at least has 4 stages of general variety instead of 3. And we all know video game bosses always take 4 hits, not 3, so that's a good number.
A bunch of Quality of Life Changes!
Alongside this, I've also polished up some rougher edges and added some additional QOL features to make learning the game a bit easier. This includes a "WRONG WAY" warning if you - get this - drive the wrong way, an arrow that points you back into the road in case you launch yourself outside the road and more! I don't believe REDLINE CROOKS is on the "Qualify of Life By Country" list yet, but I've been making an active effort to get it accepted because I believe by now we've reached a point where we are at least over Luxembourg.
Full Changelog

Entering Zone 2 now has a chance to have you enter Meadow instead of Countryside
Added a "WRONG WAY" warning in case you drive the wrong way for an extended period of time
Added an arrow that points you back to the road in case you dig out too far
Volume settings no longer wrap around (Sorry V-tuber that streamed the game and blasted her ears out by accident)
Danger arrow setting is now disabled by default
The first time you play MR. KILL now shows a prompt explaining how to use his special
If you don't defeat Vance in Zone 2, but still make it to the end, the shop now goes back to the normal area theme instead of continuing to play the boss theme
Added GMSched and set sleep margin to 1 (Thanks to the Yellowafterlife blog post that informed me of this quirk). Should fix some quirks relating to some systems and non-60Hz refresh rates.
Increased outside-of-road decoration rate
General optimization to save on CPU for better performance, especially on larger levels
Deadlift now has 5 Stars in Boost Consumption
Deadlift's special now has an active hitbox rather than only grabbing for 1 frame, massively reducing the accuracy required to use it effectively
John Carma's special now sucks in closeby vehicles, reducing the amount of accuracy needed to use it effectively
A variety of minor changes and bug fixes that were too unimportant for me to write down on the sheet of toilet paper that has the rest of the changes on it
------------------------------------------------------------ This patch also introduces support for a certain something that will be enabled when a certain very cool steam event kicks in very soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Also: the Demo for REDLINE CROOKS now has its own Steam Page! This mostly comes with the ability that you can now leave a review for the Demo. Please do so if you have thoughts on the game!
