Dear apprentice Ninzas, It’s been 1 month since the game launched on Steam, and it’s time to give you an update on how things have gone on our end, the recent minor patch we’ve just rolled out, and what’s coming next! The good news is that we’re really happy with how the launch went, especially since we were expecting a much rougher start. Despite all our efforts, we barely managed to gather around 1,500 wishlists, which was not good at all. But against all odds, we made it into the News and Trending section in several countries and quickly hit 50 reviews with a “Very Positive” rating… and only one single negative review so far. In terms of other stats, Ninza has been averaging over a hundred daily players, with a CCU (concurrent users) hovering around a daily peak of 7-10 players on average, sometimes spiking up to 28 (still not sure why). Over 3,800 players have tried the game at least once since launch. To be completely transparent, given that we only had 1,500 wishlists at launch and the rather poor coverage of the game (despite my attempt to reach out to over 400 influencers/media), these numbers seem like a total miracle. But to be even more honest with you, we’re incredibly proud. Given our laughable resources, our tiny team size, and how almost impossible it has become for indies to fight for visibility, the success of Ninza, however humble, makes us super happy. What’s also been amazing is the warm reception from the players. Whether it’s the game’s original system, its universe, or other aspects we’d grown used to, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. And of course, there's you, the incredible pillars of this community who continue to shower us with words of encouragement, thoughtful feedback, and your engagement with the game. That means the world to us and has way more value than any statistic. So, once again, a huge THANK YOU. Oh, and by the way, if you haven’t dropped a review yet, go for it now! It really helps with Steam’s algorithm. We’ll be forever grateful, and thank you to everyone who has already done so. We did our best to prioritize based on your requests and the most common issues raised. The biggest task, which took most of our time, was localization. We started with the French and Spanish version, which is now available, and more languages are on the way. We hope this will make the game accessible to even more players! < the full patch notes are available on our Discord in the #patchnote channel > Now that’s out of the way, we’re pumped to finally bring in some real new content. On top of the cosmetic items and the new character dropping in Season 2, we’ve got a few more surprises up our sleeves. Hehe. There are so many things we’re dying to implement and share with you. The best version of Ninza hasn’t been released yet! We can’t wait!
