Hello Horror Tales Fans!
After the amazing release of Horror Tales The Beggar and the surprising lack of major bugs to fix, here I present you the first big update to the game!
In this update you will find French and Ukrainian languages added to the game thanks to the community members Lacki23 and TedTous! If you want to help like them with the localization of the languages still missing in the game, here you can find more info!

Aside from this, general bug fixing has been done in some areas of the game. There was a specially nasty bug regarding running totally disabling the changing the sky powers in certain accessibility configurations. Aside from that, minor stuff was fixed too.
On the other hand, the game is now features as SteamDeck playable! Only a veeery small change had to be done to get it verified regarding default resolution. The game got already resubmitted to Valve and it should not take long to get green verified!
On the other hand, now the bad news.
It seems that during our internal playtest, people spent more time playing the entire game that the average steam players. Instead of the 4 hours expected to complete the game, players are doing it in around 2-3 hours maximum. As soon as Steam lets me change the pricing of the game (after release you have a cooldown) I will change it so it better suits the lower duration of the game.

I apology to everyone I told it was going to take 4 or even 5 hours average. The reason for this I think it is because during the playtests some players leaved the game mid completed and played the other half some months after. This caused them to have to relearn everything again and that took some time indeed. That and the bad design in some areas during development also made the gameplay figure seem higher.
Aside from all this, if you have something positive to say about The Beggar, please leave a review! They DO help a lot. The Beggar is a VERY experimental Horror Game developed by just me and it is super great to have it in a 92% score after 100 reviews! It was a risky vision and game to make but you seem to love it so YAYYYYYY!
That's all for now,
Big hug,
Carlos.
