Development Update (v.063) Changes: • The Temple of the Pharaoh level has been redesigned with its own procedurally generated map style that matches the exterior of the Temple. o 25 new rooms, including 3 new trap rooms o New tomb entrance o New ambient audio track and sound effects o Ambient light adjustments o A new danger to watch out for, should you get too greedy o New photo based objective • Implemented a fully interactive tutorial to help players understand the game’s mechanics. • The spiritual rage mechanic has been added, which allows players to have an additional layer of interaction with the spirit. Looting the tomb and completing archaeological tasks will be seen by the Mejai’s spirit as an act of desecration, angering it and therefore making it more active. This mechanic will also serve as an additional framework for future content currently in development, such as affecting certain behavior/stats of the Mejai when it physically manifests as well as other horror events • The smartwatch now has a small green icon that appears when transmitting (primarily useful for VR players) • A “smart spawn” routine has been implemented to help prevent Mejai from spawning on top of or too close to players • Ouphris may now lose his patience if you remain in one area for too long • It is now possible to take a picture of Ouphris in his true form without having to sacrifice a teammate • Sound added when a boulder collides with the ground • Balanced the volume level of Dekan and Ouphris’ attack sound, and the sound of the burning mummy scream • Expanded the hitbox on braziers to make them easier to ignite, and added a 2nd hitbox closer to the coals which makes them easier to ignite in VR in certain cases • Geiger Counter sensitivity levels I-V rebalanced • Increased the cooldown of when the Mejai’s Shut form appears • Based on community feedback, gold pile values have been re-balanced in group play from the previous update as follows: o Two player group: From 2.0x value to 1.5x value o Three player group: From 3.0x value to 1.75x value o Four player group: From 4.0x value to 2.0x value Bug Fixes: • Fixed an issue where the metal detector hitting the boulder could cause the player to take damage • Fixed a bug where Necreph’s chain sounds would stop after killing a player • Fixed an issue where the reanimated mummy would not ignite from certain angles • Fixed an issue with the objective display for solo players • Fixed an issue that allowed players to bypass markup restrictions in their Steam names
