Greetings Captain, I've done a lot of work since the last update so let's dive into what's new. Visual updates [list] [*]New logo and branding! [*]New shader system implemented with more visual fidelity and tons more customization options. [*]Performance optimizations to give min spec systems consistent 60fps under normal gameplay conditions. Player adjustable graphics settings forthcoming. [*]Some map visual and layout updates. [*]revised UI look to better fit in with animation style. [*] updated avatars for dialog scenes. [/list] Gameplay [list] [*]Some bug fixes like preventing the player from moving while interacting with spawn points. [*]Added a "Discipline" stat that controls how quickly your units follow your commands. Elves are well trained and act in unison, while the undead have less coordination and attack more sporadically. [/list] Goals for next update With the holidays coming up development will slow slightly and pick up with the new year, but here are the targeted features for the next update: [list] [*]Updated UI to allow for players to choose armor class in addition to weapon type when spawning. [*]Player adjustable graphics settings and control bindings. [*]First batch of faction specific classes. [*]I'll work on campaign missions on the back end, but they won't be added to the playtest branch until they are feature complete. [/list]
