We Are Alive is a Co-Op horror game, made by a solo developer with some help from a beloved friend. The game can be played with at least 1 and up to 4 players. You are a detective and your mission is to investigate the mysterious disappearance of the patients from the old psychiatric hospital and find out the truth.
Investigate: You'll need to find and collect evidence, keys and ammo that is scattered around the hospital.
Jumpscares: There are tons of different jump scares in the game that will keep you on your toes all the time.
Unique Ghosts: There are several ghosts, each with their own personality and traits.
Explore: The deeper you explore, the themes will change along the way.
Puzzles: Along your journey, you'll encounter a variety of puzzles, Solve them to unlock new paths and push forward.
Equipment: You're always equipped with a flashlight and pistol. However you can run out of ammo which can be a slight problem.
Multiplayer: You can play solo or up to 4 players. If you prefer to play with friends, it might be more fun. But it doesn't get any easier because you still need to communicate, share ammo and find your way forward as a team.
Replayability:
Ghosts (AIs), objects, and item spawns are randomized, ensuring that every game you play is unique.
Immersive Experience: Throughout your journey you will encounter various ghosts, jump scares, scary sounds, etc. All carefully designed to make your experience optimal and with a minimal and clean user interface to put full focus on the gameplay.
