TyranoBuilder Updated to v1.8!
We just flipped the switch and TyranoBuilder is now updated to v1.8! In addition to various tweaks and improvements for optimization and stability, this update includes:
Image Galleries
Create your own highly-customizable galleries using a drag-and-drop visual editor. Handy for building a variety of screens such as CG galleries, ending screens, character profile screens, and more.
Replay Galleries
Like image galleries on steroids! Replay galleries allow the user to revisit scenes from the game once they are unlocked.
** For details about image and replay galleries and how to build your own, visit the tutorial page here:
Custom TyranoBuilder Localization
Anyone can now freely customize the language of TyranoBuilder itself by editing the file /lang/en.json. Works for ANY language or characters.
List View Now Available for Assets
Now you can easily review and search assets such as characters, backgrounds, BGM, etc. using the new 'List View'. The original thumbnail view is still available, and you can toggle between the two using the icons in the Select File window.
Improved Previewing
A quality of life improvement: TyranoBuilder now remembers the last position of the preview screen.
Character Expressions on Entry
No need to set a character's expression's in advance anymore.
3 New System Themes
3 new system themes created by Ko Panda are pre-installed and available for use.
TyranoScript Updated
TyranoScript is updated to the latest and most optimized version, which includes camera screen centering support and patch support (tutorial to follow!)
We hope you enjoy the new TyranoBuilder! Please drop by the TyranoBuilder Discussion Group here with any questions, feedback, etc.

As usual, all previous versions of TyranoBuilder are available from Properties > Betas in your Steam Library. Please revert to the previous build if you have experience issues with existing project files.
