Hello everyone!
In our final devblog, we want to talk about various adjustments we've made to the game.
AI
Let's start with artificial intelligence. We have mainly focused on gravel roads. As you probably know, stage 9 of the Tour de France is on gravel roads. We've made various modifications so that this type of stage is managed in a specific way. Our goal is to make it unpredictable with multiple scenarios possible: baroudeur victory, small group sprint victory, solo victory, etc. We've put in a lot of effort to create different scenarios in this stage, which promises to be a highlight of the Tour.
We've also focused on the way in which the peloton organizes the pursuit of a breakaway. We've improved the selection of team members that need to ride at any given moment and ensured that climbers, for example, don't take over at the head of the peloton on flat terrain while good rouleurs are still there to chase. Responsibility for the chase has also been tweaked a little.
Previously, the Yellow Jersey's team would keep a relatively sustained pace, which could thwart a breakaway.
Now, although the Yellow Jersey's team takes part in the chase, it's mainly the teams interested in winning the stage that close the gap to catch the early breakaway.
Be careful, however, because on hilly stages, the teams aiming for victory can now try to send their stage leader into the breakaway, which frees them from the pressure of the race. The chase on mountain stages has also been adjusted with the peloton no longer necessarily wanting to catch the breakaway as quickly as before. Modifications have also been made to breakaways so that more teams (including the leaders' teams) try to put riders up front, which increases the size of early breakaways.

We have also made some modifications to time-trials following feedback from players last year so that times set by opponents are more consistent. However, the biggest problem was with team time-trials and the group of riders. We have adjusted it so that the weakest riders can no longer be left behind in the early kilometres and that tired riders cause fewer breaks so that teams are more consistent and efficient, which means these special events are more fun to play.
NEW OPTIONS
New options have also been added to the game. The subtitles have been completely overhauled to be more customizable and to improve the game's accessibility. As requested by certain members of our Discord community, the distinctive Paris-Nice and Dauphiné jerseys can now be selected in My Tour to customize your races. You can also choose to use the rules for these two races instead of the Tour de France rules for a different experience. For example, Paris-Nice rules allow points to be doubled during the final ascent of each stage. A great reason to revisit your strategy for claiming the polka-dot jersey!

That's it for our final devblog. We have a few other little surprises planned, but we'll let you discover them for yourselves in a few days on your favourite platform.
