The public Demo release is getting closer! This latest update to the playtest reflects all of the changes, bug fixes, and new features that came from your notes on the Risk & Riches Playtest, so thank you! New Features: - Added Hotkeys for opening and closing most menus in the game, and most importantly you can use the spacebar to end your turn during an Encounter (Hotkeys can be found listed in the Settings Menu) - When entering the Mine there is now a new menu in preparation for supporting multiple playable characters and "Circles of Hell" Changes: - Rebalanced the Encounters for the 1st Circle of Hell (initial difficulty level), so that players can get further into the mine faster - Adjusted some of the card values to make them more viable, especially when utilizing Utility Cards Bug Fixes: - Capped the spread of cards in your hand (after 7 cards, they should start clustering closer together) - Fixed a crash that would occur if an enemy attacked with a negative status effect and died due to return damage from the player having the Spurs equipped - Changed all of the buttons so that they exhibit the same behavior (some buttons didn't play sfx because they were set up differently earlier in development) Those are the major changes in this update. In the development build, the first three Circles of Hell and the Gunslinger have been implemented, and I am just testing further before adding them to the playtest. Expect to see them added to the Risk & Riches Playtest shortly following the public Demo being added to the main Risk & Riches store page early in November!
