Protocol Five - Detailed Information

Protocol Five is a story-driven surreal horror adventure. Trapped in a distorted world following a mysterious experiment, you must find your way to freedom with the help of your colleague. You are an expert who knows Protocol 5 very well and you know that it can solve the problem, but you also know that it should never be used.

Gameplay:
The game is heavily focused on narrative, alternating dialogues with simple challenges and puzzles. In the second part of the game, you will receive a gun and face more action-packed survival horror sections. Some dialogues will allow you to make philosophical choices that will irremediably change the course of the story, leading you to one of 5 possible endings.

Duration:
The main path can be completed in 2-4 hours, each alternate path has unique gameplay elements not present in the other paths and is complementary to the narrative and overall experience.

Theme:
The game explores themes of philosophical choices regarding eternity, using a minimalist style. The difficulty is not high, aiming to offer a surreal experience through dialogues.

Performance:
Developed by one person with Unreal Engine, it targets 60fps at 1080p at the high-quality setting, with options to reduce quality and increase fps on older hardware.
