It was a beautiful sunny day without much resistance from German garrisons.  Alongside the 101st Airborne dropped on the outskirts of Eindhoven and the 82nd Airborne at Nijmegen. All with the clear objective to seize key bridges as soon as possible, for Montgomery and the tank corps to push up straight north to Arnhem. On this anniversary it is important for us to respect the fallen and recognize the struggle that those on both sides endured during Operation Market Garden. For us at Periscope Games, our name “Post Scriptum” is very much rooted in respecting the dignity of those caught into struggle of war and battle instead glorifying that in anyway.
