BulletList.png?t=1726733617 World: In 2032 a large-scale natural disaster ravaged the entire world. It took years for mankind to recover, and two large opposing “countries” were formed in the aftermath. This story is set in the Eastern Alliance of Democracies, comprising Eurasia and Eastern Africa.
BulletList.png?t=1726733617 Tech: Due to government policies, the computing power of devices personally owned can’t exceed 1GFLOP. However, an illegal tool, named NeuralNet Jack, was developed and allowed to use the human brain as a “CPU”.
BulletList.png?t=1726733617 Net: The content available on the net is heavily censored, leading to the creation of an alternative distributed network, called ShadowNet. Its use is considered a crime, but a sizable part of the population (25-30%) access it daily. The main contributors to the Snet infrastructure and code are members of the Neon Knights Collective.
This game contains content not appropriate for all ages, including topics like suicide, mental health, drug use, violence, and death. 2D pixel art graphics of killings are shown in a few instances. Illegal activities (mostly hacking) are portrayed. Occasional swearing is present but censored.
