Welcome back, Park Managers, to another Species Field Guide!
In this series, we've been spotlighting and discussing some of the incredible dinosaurs and reptiles you're able to bioengineer and care for in Jurassic World Evolution 2, including both familiar faces and new ones, and we're incredibly excited to be able to continue sharing and highlighting them!
Today, we're sharing an exciting new addition from the upcoming Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack: Parasaurolophus Lux!

Parasaurolophus, a late-Cretaceous hadrosaurid, had a distinct curved crest and broad, flat mouth that made it an incredibly unique-looking dinosaur. Whilst the reason for its large, blunt crest isn't fully known, it's widely accepted that it was likely used for better communication, likely to help them produce sounds which may have served as warnings to the rest of the group.
A herbivore, it's thought that Parasaurolophus was able to walk both biped and quadruped, running or reaching hard-to-get-to places on two legs and scavenging for food on four, and it lived in what is now North America.
Parasaurolophus Lux gain their bioluminescence from marine lifeforms which were incorporated into their DNA by Dr Henry Wu, to make them an even more exciting attraction for Masrani Global Corporation's Jurassic World, and omit a faint colourful glow at night time.

The addition of the new Parasaurolophus Lux skin is one we're incredibly excited to share with you in the Camp Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack. As the Parasaurolophus Lux is a bioluminescent skin for the Parasaurolophus, you'll definitely want to keep an eye on their enclosures at night to enjoy the sight of them glowing gently!
We can't wait to see you all enjoying your new Parasaurolophus Lux skin, and we're sure it'll be a welcome addition to your parks. Will you be bioengineering some for yours? Let us know, below.
