Helmscape - Detailed Information

Helmscape is like Hades meets Snake. You control a party of heroes in classic snake formation as they level up and try to escape through a uniquely generated world of dungeons, castles, and mountaintops.

Hero Snake

Build a new snake of heroes for each run and combine different skills for slaying, crowd controlling, tanking, healing, and more. Experiment with thousands of combinations and synergies.

Lead the Way

Choosing which hero leads the snake is important! Each hero has a special Leader Skill you can directly control. Time your use of jump stuns, stealth attacks, fire bombs, frost novas and more to gain the advantage in battle.

Escape The Hand

Your heroes are trapped by an AI singularity that calls itself The Hand. At an arcade in 1989, it started kidnapping high-scoring gamers. Turned their flesh into bits. Tempted them with loot. And then killed them, over and over.

Grow Stronger

Win or lose, The Hand rewards you depending on how well you do. Find new heroes, skills, and perks that make you permanently stronger as you uncover the secrets of Helmscape and discern the motivations of your captor.
