Greetings, comrades! Thanks to all of the feedback we received on the Union of Gnomes last demo, we're hard at work improving the existing aspects of the game while adding brand new ones. One of these changes is that HEROES NEVER DIE! That's right, we've given the hero system a lot of thought and realized that forcing the player to create a new hero when it dies will devalue the system. In fact, players love to develop one character and end up being more attached to them. Now, your hero will be constant (even if they fall in battle) and keep their progression. [img]https://i.ibb.co/72cCp7G/pirozhok.gif[/img] In our [url=https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/2097030/view/3749869144024818048]previous update[/url], we showed the development of two bosses: Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. The crazy hag keeps insisting that you have some Pirozhok (a delicious Slavic dish) and will add it to your deck, but you can use the card against her! Speaking of cards, we've added some cool new ones. For example, [b]Heartbreaker[/b] will punish an enemy that tries to heal themselves. Instead of receiving health points, they will take the same amount of damage instead. This works great on nuns, who focus on healing their entire squad. You can also kill an opponent with this debuff by using a healing card as it'll convert the points into damage. [img]https://i.ibb.co/2vj4mQv/Deathproof.gif[/img] [b]Deathproof[/b] gives the player a buff called "Unkillable", which will stop the hero's health point from dropping below 1. Even poison can't kill them. [img]https://i.ibb.co/zxjJktF/Bomby.gif[/img] The [b]Bomby[/b] card allows the player to cast a "Bomb!" debuff on the opponent. With each turn, the debuff ticks down and decreases. And when it reaches zero, the bomb will explode and deal a lot of damage. [img]https://i.ibb.co/ssq5TDr/Thief.gif[/img] [b]Thief[/b] is applied to the enemy, and steals (obviously) all of the perks the unit should have received. Healing, armor, and other buffs are given to the player's hero instead of the enemy. In addition, we have also: [list] [*] Removed unnecessary resources and simplified resource management.
