This update introduces 7 fish breeds and 5 fish morphs. Breed the specific base fish for a chance to acquire the breed or morph. Additionally, 16 new "Hobby" fish tanks have been added and the original 8 tanks are now known as your "Display" tanks. Display tanks earn money and fish can be purchased and bred in them, while fish in Hobby tanks do not earn currency and cannot breed. Fish in a Hobby tank are always happy and are not affected by water parameters or incorrect group sizes.

Along with this update, Fishlets' first paid DLC has arrived! This DLC, named the Natural Decor Pack, adds an assortment of new nature-themed decoration objects. Take a look at the DLC's Steam page for screenshots and more info!
Major Changes
⚠️ Restart Steam if the update doesn't download right away.
- Added 12 fish Breeds and Morphs obtained from breeding base fish: Telescope Goldfish, Ranchu Goldfish, Pintail Guppy, Delta Guppy, Crowntail Betta, Plakat Betta, Calico Angelfish, Designer Clownfish, Barred Discus, Thai Silk Flowerhorn, Pinto Giant Barb, and Traditional Koi
- Added 16 "Hobby" tanks via the My Tanks menu. The original tanks 1-8 have been renamed to "Display" tanks. Fish from a Display tank can be retired (transferred) to any Hobby tank. Fish in Hobby tanks do not passively earn cash and cannot be bred. Fish do not care about group limits or water parameters in these tanks, and as a result, do not lose happiness (now you can have the Betta sorority of your dreams!).
- Added new paid DLC: Natural Decor Pack. Spruce up your new tanks and provide the new fish breeds with the following 14 natural decor pieces:
- Sparse Bubbler
- Leaf Litter
- Cholla Wood
- Coconut Cave
- Tree Stump
- Spider Wood
- Bonsai Tree (mossy & cherry blossom)
- Dragon Stone (small, medium, large)
- Large Conch
- Seashells
- Sea Glass

- (IDLE) Tank upgrades can now be removed. Select the upgrade using Deco mode (default P), then remove it with the delete/sell key (default DEL)
Changes
- (IDLE) Fish eggs and food are now removed when resetting a tank
- (IDLE) The random name generator icon is now shown as a question mark icon in a fish's UI
- (IDLE) Moved the "My Tanks" button in Idle tanks to the escape Menu (hamburger icon)
- Reworked fish movement, schooling behavior, and species swim speed. Fish that are the same species and prefer schools or a mate will now tend to swim near one another more closely and follow each other. This behavior can be turned off in the Game Options under "Fish Schooling". When schooling is turned off, fish are now more likely to spread out around the tank instead of staying in one spot (such as under the AutoFeeder). Fish are also now more likely to swim in a horizontal direction.
- (IDLE) Heater upgrade now makes baby fish grow faster
- (IDLE) Filter upgrade now makes fish eggs take less time to hatch
- (IDLE) Filter upgrade now cleans food that has been in the tank for a minute or longer
- Visually revamped "Bare Bottom" substrate to look more... well... like the bare bottom of an aquarium. Fish and critters will show their reflections when passing close to the bare bottom.
