Candle Wood - Detailed Information

CANDLE WOOD is a cute and brutal 2D platformer set in a world full of candle folks!

Explore a world where every person is a lampshade related being, like a candle, a censer, a lampion, a chandelier and go on. And in this strange world, sometimes things goes out of hand... the Smoke Rain, is an event that occurs in the farms from time to time, and make the crops became mad and attack the people that lives there.

For times like this, the Emperor created the Candle Wood, an elite group of individuals with unique abilities capable to deal with the mad crops and rescue the poor citizens that are desperate in need of help.

You assume the control of this group, and need to go through this lands trying to find the villagers that after the Smoke Rain, hide themselves in the most unusual places you can think of.

For this hard task you will count with the five members of the Candle Wood, with their unique abilities, they are:

• The Hunter: With his double jumps, he is always willing to go to the most dangerous places to rescue the most needed, and with his faithful axe in hand no plant can stop this mission from being accomplished.
  
  
• The Blacksmith: Less talk, more smash. The Blacksmith can destroy everything that are obstructing the way of his friends, it doesn't matter if its a giant rock or if it's a giant evil plant, "smash" is aways the best answer for him.
  
  
• The Doctor: With her mask The Doctor is capable of breathe the most dangerous poison that are create by the Smoke Rain, as well, her interest for this kind of substance provide her a useful tool against the mad crops, even if its a little dangerous for her grewmates...
  
  
• The Exorcist: The Smoke Rain can not only corrupt the crops, but some sacred places too... For this cases, The Exorcist is aways whiling to help in the purification of this places and guaranteeing the safety of his group, providing a little bit of first aid in the middle of the combat.
  
  
• The Puppeteer: The most misterious, and maybe crazy, of the group, The Puppeteer doesn't like to fight that much, instead of that, he uses his Puppet-Candle to deal with the problem for him and as a shield when the group needs it... At least it's quite useful.

Learn to master all of them and their unique skills to overcome the challenges of the three places that you will visit in your journey! The Farms, The Mangrove and The Mountains... All of them with their unique set of monster plants and challenges to make you think how to use your abilities the best way.

Candle Wood is designed to be a hard game, specially if you are trying to rescue all the 40 villagers throughout the game, but take your time, learn how to read the level and the enemies and, most important, have fun!
