Hey everyone, we’re really excited to announce Astral Tracks today with our debut trailer and finally give you your first look at the game we’ve been working hard on behind the scenes. We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to the game and tell you a bit about how it came to be! [previewyoutube=fFcHoeAZYIs;full][/previewyoutube] Astral Tracks is a competitive 3D platforming speedrunner where you run, dash, slide, swing and wall run your way to victory. You can compete against friends locally or online and refine your runs to top the leaderboards for each procedurally generated track. We actually released a similar game a couple of years ago that went by the name Schacht. While we had a small community that really enjoyed that game, we never really did any marketing to bring it to the attention of the world and we felt there was a lot more potential in it that wasn’t realised. With Astral Tracks, we’ve taken the core ideas of that game and upped it to the next level - improved level design, mechanics, better visuals, better everything! The result is a dynamic game that really clicks when you get into the flow (and beat your friends’ times of course ;)). I’ll close by giving you a look at something we’ve had a lot of fun with: our silly costumes and accessories that you can unlock with in-game currency (there are no microtransactions in this game, I promise!). We’ve got tinfoil hats, butterfly wings, crowns, inflatable duck rings and all sorts of other stuff.
