What is Advancing Chess?
Advancing Chess is an online multiplayer chess roguelike in which you can assemble a unique board, utilize special tactics that alter how pieces interact, and compete against other players to demonstrate your board's strategic superiority.Features

- Choose a Fate each run, introducing a twist to how you play your matches and your run.

Special Tactics
Initially, each chess piece's capabilities will be limited compared to standard chess— pawns advancing an extra space on their first move, En Passant, Promotion, Castling, none of these will be usable at the start. However, they can be acquired as your run progresses in addition to all-new tactics that will alter how you can use your pieces.
Additionally, every tactic has an improved variant that you can acquire later in your run. Some adding a completely new layer to the existing ability.
Fates
You’ll have the option to take 1 Fate at the start of every run. Fates can add unique advantages and/or disadvantages, some of which enable completely new strategies.
