T129 ATAK

The Augusta Westland T129 ATAK is a version of the A129 CBT, developed by the Italian company Agusta Westland specifically for the Turkish Air Forces and put into service in 2013. One of the main differences from the original is that this model carries Turkish-made weapons. The T129 is armed with a 20mm TM197B cannon in a nose turret, and also can carry various options of suspended weaponry: eight guided "air-to-air" ATAS missiles, up to eight guided "air-to-surface" L-UMTAS or up to sixteen CIRIT missiles, or seventy six FZ unguided rockets. In terms of countermeasure against radar guidance systems, the T129 is equipped with decoys and laser warning sensors.
