About the Game

The Leopard 2A4M CAN is a modernized Canadian variant of the Leopard 2A4 purchased from the Royal Netherlands Army. This variant was specifically updated for conducting operations in Afghanistan and were delivered at the end of 2010. These tanks are currently in the service of the Canada's only tank regiment - Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians), created by Donald Alexander Smith, 1st Baron Strathcona and Mount Royal. The modernized Leopard 2A4M CAN is equipped with additional composite armor, protecting the sides and the frontal part and is capable of reaching a maximum top speed of 68 km/h.

The Leopard 2A4M CAN is armed with a 120 mm smoothbore cannon, a 7.62 coaxial and 7.62 mm roof-mounted AA machine gun. The ammunition load includes APFSDS shells and a HEAT-FS shell. Additionally, this tank is equipped with smoke grenade launchers, a laser rangefinder and a thermal vision device for the gunner.
