SdKfz 140/1

The invasion of the USSR demonstrated that German APCs weren’t suited well for reconnaissance tasks due to poor roads, thus the first scout tanks were developed. The Aufklarungspanzer 38(t) is based on the Pz.38(t) light tank and features an automatic 20mm gun. The unusual mesh cover at the top protected the crew from hand-grenades. This is one of the fastest Rank 1 vehicles in the game with strong frontal armour, and it is a perfect choice for the quick capture of strategic points.

Ju 87R-2

The Ju 87R-2 is a long-range bomber modification developed in the late 1930s based on the Ju 87B-2. They were used in the battle in North Africa, where they were additionally modified for tropical conditions with an anti-dust filter and additional protection for the weapon compartments installed. The Ju 87R-2 is armed with two 7.92 mm MG 17 machine guns and also a turret with a 7.92 mm MG 15 machine gun is installed for rear hemisphere protection. The aircraft is able to carry a 250, 500 or a 1000 kg bomb.
