CSX is one of America’s “Super Railroads,” with a route system more than 20,000 miles in length. Stretching from New England to Florida, from the Atlantic Seaboard to Chicago and New Orleans, CSX operates through an extraordinary diversity of American setting and countryside.

And now, CSX Scenario Pack 01, from High Iron Simulations, brings the captivating experiences and challenges of CSX railroading to life in Train Simulator. With CSX Scenario Pack 01, you’ll go to work amid the hustle and bustle of lively south Florida, haul heavy tonnage in the rugged and remote Appalachian Mountains of Kentucky and Virginia, and work amid the historic farmlands and scenic foothills of Pennsylvania and Maryland!

In CSX Scenario Pack 01, you’ll climb aboard the railroad’s unique and distinctive SD40-3 remanufactured locomotive, the versatile EMD GP40-2, and the husky General Electric Dash 8-40CW in ten authentic career scenarios that include:

• Handling main line and local freight duties on the historic and scenic CSX Hanover Subdivision amid the famed “Dutch Country” of Pennsylvania and Maryland. You’ll make the climb of rugged South Mountain and handle switching duties along this ex-Western Maryland Railway line at locations including historic Gettysburg and Hanover.
  
• Toting heavy tonnage will be your task in the daunting and rugged Appalachians as you operate a CSX ethanol unit train on the main line of the legendary Clinchfield Railroad and work coal services on the Haysi (Greenbriar) and McClure branch lines.
  
• In sunny and fast-paced south Florida, you’ll go to work on the busy ex-Seaboard Coast Line main line and work heavy stone and local freights and even be called for special duty aboard the Amtrak Silver Meteor.

CSX Scenario Pack 01 offers a unique chance to enjoy railroading in a remarkable variety of geographic settings and conditions as re-created in the pack’s ten realistic and challenging career scenarios that are based closely on actual railroad operations.

Note: This scenario pack requires Train Simulator’s CSX Hanover Subdivision route; Clinchfield Railroad: Elkhorn City – St. Paul route; and Miami – West Palm Beach route. Select scenarios also require the GP40-2 Loco Pack add-on; CSX SD80MAC add-on; and the Miami Commuter Rail F40PHL-2 add-on.
